ORDINANCE NO. _ 966
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE TRAFFIC LIGHT AND ONE SEMI- ACTUATED TRAFFIC
LIGHT CONTROLLER, COMPIETE WITH NECESSARY EQUIPMENT
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
1 SECTION 1* The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and directed
to 'advertise, take bids for, and purchase one traffic light and one semi -
actuated traffic light controller, complete with necessary equipment, for use
by the Police Department of the City of Little Rock. Said traffic light to
be installed at the inter - section of Cantrell Road and Hays Streets.
SECTION 2. The cost of such traffic light and semi - actuated traffic
light controller and other necessary equipment shall not exceed the sum of
one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval„
