ORDINANCE NO. 9960
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING TRUCKS OF MORE THAN
1 1 /2- TON CAPACITY EXCEPT FOR PICK UP AND DELIVERY
ONLY, FROM TRAVELING UPON HAYES STREET FROM WEST
TWELFTH STREET TO CANTRELL ROAD; PROVIDING= A
PENALTY THEREFOR; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That trucks of more than 1 1 /2 - ton capacity are
hereby prohibited from traveling on Hayes Street from West Twelfth
Street to Cantrell Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, except for pick up and
delivery only.
SECTION 2. That any person, firm or copporation violating Section
1 of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor; and upon
conviction therVof, shall be fined in a sum not less than Twenty -Five
($25. 00) Dollars nor more than Fifty ($50.00) Dollars for each violation.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
