ORDINANCE NO. 9 9 55
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TIE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE ONE TiOUSAND POUNDS OF BARE COPPER b'TIRE, FIFTY
STREET LIGHT FIXTURES, ONE CARLOAD OF CREOSOTED PINE
POLES, AND FIVE PRIMARY OIL SVaTCHES FOR USE BY THE
ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase one thousand pounds
(12000 lbs.) bare copper wire, fifty (50) street light fixtures, one (1)
carload (approximately 100) 30 foot, Class 7, creosoted pine poles, and
five (5) primary oil switches for use by the Electric Department of the
City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. The cost of =lac #;wire shall not exceed the sum of
six hundred dollars ($600.00); the 601' of such street light fixtures
shall not exceed the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00);
the cost of such poles shall not exceed the sum of one thousand two hun-
dred and fifty dollars ($1,250.00); and the cost of such primary oil
switches shall not exceed the sum of five hundred and fifty dollars
i 0550.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
