HomeMy WebLinkAbout9948ORDINANCE NO. 9948 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF HEADQUARTERS EQUIPMENT, 11 STATION RECORDERS, AND 11 6" ELECTRO- MECHANICAL GONGS TO BE USED IN COMPLETING THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, i ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder for the purchase and installation of the following equipment to be used in com- pleting the Little Rock Fire Alarm System: Headquarters Equipment consisting of -- 4 - 2 circuit box circuit panels 2 - 2 circuit alarm circuit panels 1 - Master and Test Panel 1 - Operatorls console consisting of: 1 - Box circuit recorder 1 - Master recorder 1 - Alarm circuit recorder 1 - Manual transmitter 1 - PBX recorder 1 - Desk with conference top 1 - Secondary alarm system complete with remote units for 11 stations. Station Recorders - 11 required less time and date stamps 6" Electro- Mechanical Gongs - 11 required. SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
