AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC AFFAIRS
TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR AND PURCHASE CERTAIN ITEMS FOR VARIOUS
DEPARTMENTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Pek THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKWSAS',
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase the following
items for use by the various departments for ,a period of three months
beginning October 21, 1955:
Meat for animals at the Zoo not to exceed $ 19800.00
Feed for animals at the Zoo not to exceed 750.00
Gasoline, oils, lubricants, tires, tubes and the
repairing and retreading of tires
Bridge Lumber not to exceed 601000 ft.
Cement not to exceed 600 bags
