AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE CONDUIT, STEEL TUBE, JUNCTION BOXES, LIGHTNING
ARRESTERS, WIRE, AND OTHER NECESSARY SUPPLIES FOR THE
USE BY THE ELECTRIC DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise, take bids for, and purchase conduit, steel
' tube, junction boxes, lightning arresters, wire, and other necessary
supplies for use by the Electric Department of the City of Little Rock.
Said conduit, steel tube, junction boxes, lightning arresters, wire,
and other necessary supplies to be installed in the new City Light Plant.
SECTION 2. The cost of such conduit, steel tube, junction
boxes, lightning arresters, wire, and other necessary supplies shall
not exceed the sum of Twenty-five hundred seventy -seven dollars
($2.9577.00).
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
