AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SU1111 OF $45Y435.00 TO
PAY TO THE BIG ROCK STONE & MATERIAL COMPAFY AS
CONSIDERATIOK FOR THE PURCHIASE OF A PART OF BLOCK 186,
ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
TO BE USED AS A BUILDI�1G SITE IN REMOVI G THE PULASKI
COUNTY JAIL FROM THE RIGHT- OF -WAY OF THE RIVERFROI!T
DRIVE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKA 1SAS :
SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of
Forty -five Thousand Four Hundred Thirty -five & no/100 (4`?`45,435.00)
Dollars to pay to the Big Rock Stone & Material Company as con-
sideration for the purchase of a part of Block 186, ORIGI:2AL CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUTY ARKA-!' -SAS, to be used as a building'
site in removing the Pulaski County Jail from the right -of -way
of the Riverfront Drive.
SECTION? 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
instructed to issue the City's warrant in the sum of ;,45,435.00
to the Big Rock Stone & Material Company, said money to be paid
from the General Funds of the City.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
