AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE PEDESTRIAN AND MOTOR
VEHICLE TRAFFIC UNDER THE PRESENT DENVER LIGHT
SYSTEM AS USED ON MAIN STREET AND WEST CAPITOL
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PUR-
POSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C I TY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any pedestrian to
walk across the street except on the "walk" signal only at the
following intersections where traffic is regulated by the Denver
Light System, which is installed at: 2nd & Main, 3rd & Main,
4th & Main, Capitol & Main, 6th & Main, 7th & Main, 8th & Main,
9th & Main, Capitol & Louisiana, Capitol & Center, and Capitol
& Spring.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for the driver of any motor
Vehicle to make a right or left turn on the red signal light or
"walk" signal light at the following intersections: 2nd & Main,
3rd'& Main, 4th & Main, Capitol & Main, 6th & Main, 7th & Main,
8th & Main, 9th & Main, Capitol & Louisiana, Capitol & Center,
and Capitol & Spring.
SECTION 3. The driver of a motor vehicle will be permitted
to make a left turn on the green signal only when going North on
Main at 9th Street, 6th Street, and 2nd Street.
SECTION 4. The driver of a motor vehicle will be permitted
to make a left turn on the green signal only when going South on
Main Street at 4th Street and 9th Street.
SECTION 5. The driver of a motor vehicle will be permitted
to make a left turn on the green signal at Main Street only when
going West on 9th Street, 6th Street, and 2nd Street; and at Main
Street when going East on 4th Street.
SECTION 6. The driver of a motor vehicle will be permitted
to make a left turn on the green signal only when going West on
Capitol at Louisiana Street; and when going South on Louisiana
Street at Captiol Avenue.

SECTION 7. The driver of a motor vehicle will be permitted
to make left turns on the green signal only at Capitol & Spring
Street.
SECTION 8. Anyone violating said pedestrian and motor ve-
hicle traffic regulations shall be fined a sum of not less than
Five (5.00) Dollars and not more than Twenty -Five ($25.00)
Dollars.
SECTION 9. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage
and approval.
