ORDINANCE NO. 9853
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND LET
A CONTRACT FOR THE REMOVAL OF A HOUSE LOCATED ON THE
WEST HALF OF LOT 8, BLACK 8, CAPITOL VIEW ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS,
HAVING A HOUSE NUMBER OF 2204 WEST THIRD STREET, PUR-
SUANT TO THE DECREE TAKEN MARCH 11, 1955 IN THE
PULASKI CHANCERY COURT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and let
a contract for the removal of a house located on the West Half
of Lot 8, Block 8, Capitol View Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, having a house number of 2204
West Third Street, pursuant to the decree taken March 11, 1955
in the Pulaski Chancery Court.
SECTION 2. That said contract shall specify the cost of
razing and removing the house from the premises or, in the
alternative, the selling of the house at its present location
with the obligation of the purchaser to remove same from the
premises.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
