AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND ENTER
INTO A LEASE- PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR 9 TUDOR AUTOMOBILES
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED $12,500.00, PLUS TRADE -IN
VALUE OF 9 USED TUDOR AUTOMOBILES OWNED BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, THE PAYMENTS TO BE MADE IN 18 EQUAL MONTHLY
INSTALLMENTS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
i_, - SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and execute
a lease- purchase agreement for nine (9) Tudor Automobiles to be
used in the Police Department of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That the cost of the nine (9) Tudor Automobiles
shall not exceed the sum of $12,500.00, plus the trade -in of nine
(9) used Tudor Automobiles owned by the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. That part of the rental on the said lease-
purchase agreement shall be made in the form of nine (9) Tudor
Automobiles, listed as follows:

which shall be traded in on the rent of the automobiles which the
City may lease - purchase.
SECTION 4. Said lease- purchase agreement is not to exceed
a period of eighteen (18) months, and the monthly rental shall be
paid at the rate of one - eighteenth (1/18) of the total lease -
purchase price per month, with a provision that all monthly pay-
ments shall apply on the purchase price if the City of Little Rock
desires to purchase said automobiles at any time thereafter.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
