CRDIN►NCE NO. 9845
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 7444, AND CR.DI-
NANCE NO. 7469, ESTABLISHING AN ANNUAL PRIVILEGE
LICENSE TAX FOR ICE MANUFACTURERS WITHIN THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK; PROVIDING FOR THE AMOUNT THEREOF;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES:
BE IT CRDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That part of Section 10 Subsection As of Ordinance No. 7444..
passed October 27, 1947, and Ordinance No. 7469, passed November 24, 1947,
which reads:
"Ice Manufacturer — Each person, firm or
corporation manufacturing ice for sale, for
each factory, whether principal business or
not, where annual output is:
Less than 10,000 tons .. . $ 125.00
10,000 to 15,000 tons . . . 200.00
15,000 to 20,000 tons .. . 300.00
Over 20,000 tons . . . .. 350.00"•
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Ice Manufacturer — Each person, firm or
corporation manufacturing ice for sale, for
each factory, whether principal business or
notS where annual output is:
Less than 300 tons .. $ 25.00
300 to 500 tons 50.00
500 to 1,000 tons ... 100.00
1,000 to 10,000 tons . . 125.00
10,000 to 15,000 tons. . 200.00
15,000 to 20,000 tons. . 300.00
Over 20,000 tons . . . . 350.00"•
SECTION Q. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval.
