ORDINANCE NO. 9998
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO JACK HOLT, JR., OF A PART OF
BLOCK 136, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Public Affairs of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9947 of the City
of Little Rock passed October 31, 1955s, did advertise and take sealed
,bps, t#r the sale of lands hereinafter. described; and
WEEMS, Jack Holt, Jr., did, in accordance with said invitation
for bids, submit the highest and best bid for the purchase thereof,
which said bid was duly accepted by said Board of Public Affairs;
NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute a warranty deed on behalf of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, to Jack Holt, Jr., of the following described real
property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
A part of Block 136, ORIGINAL CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, more
yartiamUrly described as follows:
Beginning at the point on the West line of Lot 60 which
is 90 feet South of the Northwest corner of Block 136;
thence South along the West line of Lot 6, a distance of
10 feet to a point; thence East to the point on the East
line of Lot 5, which is 100 feet South of the North line
of Block 136; thence North along the East line of Lot 5,
a distance of 10 feet to a point; thence West to the point
of beginning, containing 1,000 square feet more or less;
RESERVING, however, to the Grantor, its successors
and assigns the right of access from these lands to the
Riverfront Drive.
SECTION 2. That the consideration for the execution of this
deed is the sum of $555.00.
SECTION 3, That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
