AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 (COLLECTORIS OFFICE) OF
ORDINANCE NO. 9006 AS AMENDED, CREATING THE POSITIONS OF
PARKING METER COLLECTOR AND PARKING METER MECHANIC & DEPUTY
METER COLLECTOR, FIXING THE CLASSIFICATION ANQ ESTABLISHING
THE SALARIES THEREFOR, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSASt
SECTION 1. There is hereby created an additional position of Parking Meter
Collector and an additional position of Parking Meter Mechanic & Deputy Meter
Collector in the Collectorts office of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 9006, is hereby amended in part to
read as follows:

SECTION
3. The duties
of the above newly created
positions will be
assigned by the
City Collector and said salaries will be paid out of Parking Meter Fund.
SECTION 4. The persons chosen to fill the positions created in Section 1 hereof,
shall be selected by the Civil Service Commission in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
