AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EMPLOYMBNT
OF 6 DAY LABORERS IN THE PARKS _,AND RECREATION DEPART-
MENT ON A TEMPORARY BASIS AT A WAGE OF $.80 PER HOUR
TO CLEAR DEBRIS FROM BOYLE PARK, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The employment of 6 day laborers is hereby
authorised in the -Parks and Recreation Department on a temporary
basis to clear underbrush, degbris, etc. from the creek bed in
Boyle Park. That this is an emergency resulting from recent
floods in that area..
SECTION 2. That said laborers shall be selected by the
Civil Service Commission at a wage of x.80 per hour.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
