AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A TEMPORARY POSITION OF STREET PROJECT
ASPHALT INSPECTOR IN THE SUMC ENGINEERING
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY
THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby created a temporary position of Street Projecti
Asphalt Inspector, in the Engineering Department of the City of Little Rock, whose
salary shall be $250.00 per month, not to exceed a period of seven (7) months.
SECTION 2. That the said Street Project Asphalt Inspector shall be under the
supervision of the City Engineer, and his duties shall be to approve or reject in
part or in the entirety of the work of the Contractor relating to the resurfaging
of City streets.
SECTION 3. That the Street Project Asphalt Inspector shall be paid from
Street Department Funds.
SECTION 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval.
