AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON
WEST THIRTY -THIRD STREET, RUNNING EAST AND WEST,
BETWEEN THE WEST HALF (W 1/2) OF BLOCKS THIRTY -SIX (36)
AND BLOCK THIRTY -SEVEN (37) , BRADDOCK'S BOULEVARD
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the City Council of
Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 4th day of June, 1956, asking the City Council
to vacate and abandon all of the Street described as West Thirty -Third Street,
running East and West, between the West Half (W 1/2) of Block Thirty -six (36)
and Block Thirty -seven (37) , Braddock's Boulevard Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, said Street being more particularly described, as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Six (6) , Block Thirty -six (36) ,
of Braddock's Boulevard Addition to the City of Little Rock, thence run
East along the South line thereof 140 feet to the Southeast corner thereof,
thence South to the Northeast corner of Lot One 4), Block Thirty -seven (37) ,
of said Addition; thence West along the North line of said lot 140 feet to
the Northwest corner thereof; thence North to the point of beginning„
now appearing in Plat Book 35, Page 598.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Council has, at the
time and place mentioned in this notice, heard all persons desiring to be heard
on the question and has ascertained that the Street, hereinabove described,
has been dedicated to the public use, and has not been used by the public
generally for a period of at least five (5) years subsequent to the filing of the
plat; that the owners of all the property abutting upon the portion of the street
to be vacated have filed with the Council their written consent to such abandon-
ment; and that the public interest and welfare will not be adversely affected by
the abandonment of such portion of said Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates,
and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of the public generally,
in and to that portion of West Thirty -Third Street, running East and West,
between the West Half (W 1/2) of Blocik Thirty -six (36) and Block Thirty -seven (37) ,

Braddock's Boulevard Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, said
Street being more particularly described, as follows:

of Braddock's Boulevard Addition to the City of Little Rock, thence
run East along the South line thereof 140 feet to the Southeast corner
thereof; thence South to the Northeast corner of Lot One 0) , Block
Thirty -seven (37) of said Addition; thence West along the North line
of said lot 140 feet to the Northwest corner thereof; thence North to
the point of beginning.
Section 2. A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk
shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of Pulaski County.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage.
