AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $954.27 TO PAY
THE TUITION, ROOM,. BOARD, AND TRAVEL EXPENSES OF 10
MEN AND 3 INSTRUCTORS FROM THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE DE-
PARTMENT WHILE ATTENDING THE FIRST ANNUAL POLICE
TRAINING SCHOOL THROUGH THE DIVISION OF GENERAL EXTEN-
SION TO BE HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS IN
FAYETTEVILLE FROM JULY 9 THROUGH JULY 209 19569 AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the sum of Nine Hundred Fifty -Four Dol-
lars and Twenty -Seven Cents ($954.27) is hereby appropriated
to pay the tuition, room, board, and travel expenses of 10 men
and 3 instructors from the Little Rock Police Department while
attending the First Annual Police Training School through the
Division of General Extension to be held at the University of
Arkansas in Fayetteville from July 9 through July 20, 1956.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby au-
thorized and directed to issue the City's warrant in the sum of
Nine Hundred Fifty -Four Dollars and Twenty -Seven Cents ($954.27)
for said expenses.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and ap-
proval.
