AN ORDINANCE LIMITING THE WIDTH OF THE MOTOR
BUSES OPERATED FOR MASS TRANSPORTATION ON THE
STREETS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That from and after the effective date
of this ordinance no motor bus operated for mass transporta-
tion on the streets of the City of Little Rock shall have
a total outside width in excess of one hundred five (105)
inches.
SECTION 2. That the City Council finds that on
account of traffic congestion in the City of Little Rock the
lives and safety of its inhabitants and their property are
endangered and that only by the passage of this ordinance
can there be an additional safeguard to the lives and property
of its inhabitants. An emergency, therefore, is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance being necessary for
the .immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
