AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEED OF A STRIP OF LAND
ADJOINING THE EASTERN BORDER OF ALLSOPP PARK
WHEREAS, Anne Sharpe Holmann has deeded to the City of Little
Rock a strip of land adjoining Allsopp Park, to be used for munici-
pal park purposes; and
WHEREAS, the addition of this land to the park will greatly
benefit the park and enhance its value to the public; NOW, THERE-
FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the City Council does find that the property
deeded by Anne Sharpe Holmann to the City of Little Rock, so long
as used for municipal park purposes, the same to revert to the
grantor, her heirs and assigns, when no longer so used, is a bene-
ficial addition to Allsopp Park.
SECTION 2. That the deed of the below- described property be,
and is hereby, accepted and said property is hereby declared to
be a part of Allsopp Park and under the care and control of the
City of Little Rock, and is described as follows:
Commencing at a point 325 feet south of the center
of Section 32, Township 2 North, Range 12 West, the
same being a point at which the south side of "K"
Street intersects with the North -South Center Line
of Section 32, the same being 25 feet south and 23
feet west of an iron pin marking the southwest cor_-
ner of Block 4 of Hillcrest Park Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Plat Book 1, page 125, then
East 50 feet along the south side of "K" Street,
then South to Cedar Hill Road, then southwesterly
along the north side of Cedar Hill Road to the
North -South Center Line of Section 32, then North
along said line to the point of beginning.
