AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING S8 PI'S TO BE RECSIVED BY THE EARS
OF EACH OF TO SEVZUL LOTS, BLOCKS, AND PARCELS OF-LAND WITHIN
STREET II[PRCP DISTRICT NA. 611 OF LITTLE ROCS, ARKANSAS.
WAS, a majority of two thirds in value of the property
owners owning property adjoining the locality to be affected and
situated in Street Improvement District No. 611 of Little Rock,
Arkansas, organised for the purpose of paving East 13th Street,
Baxter Street, and Rayburn Street as therein set out, have petitioned
the City Council of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the con-
struction of said improvement, and that the cost thereof shall be
assessed upon the real property of said District according to the
benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot,
and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or exceeds
the local assessment thereon; and
WECRBAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $27,313.72;
Nov, TNBREP'ms BE IT GAINED by the City Council of the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That said several blocks, lots, and parcels of
real property in said District be assessed according to the assess-
ment list for said improvement district as the same now remains in
the office of•the City Clerk, or as said assessment list may later
be amended, and that ten per centum (10%) of the assessment on each
of said alecks, lots, and parcels shall be collected by the County
Collector with the first installment of general taxes becoming due
in 1957 and annually thereafter with the first installment of general
taxes until the whole of said local assessment shall be paid.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
