AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 2748, WHICH
IS SECTION 1255 OF BRICKHOUSE AND CASTLE'S DIGEST, SETTING
FORTH THE PARTIES, WHO SHALL TAKE OUT LICENSES THEREUNDER AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 2748, which
Is Section 1255 of Brickhouse and Castle Digest to the City
of Little Rock, is hereby amended to read as follows:
"That before any person, firm or corporation shall engage
in the automobile express business, the business of hauling
parcels, baggage or any other personal property or waste materials
such as, waste paper, rags, bottles, such firm, person or corp-
oration shall take out a license therefor and shall pay in addition
to all other licenses and taxes, do heretofore imposed, the sum
of ten dollars ($10) for automobiles, trucks or other motor vehicles
so used."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
In conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
