ORDINANCE NO. 10,363
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH THE PRESENT
CARRIER, NEW Y ORK LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY TO PROVIDE
INCREASED LIFE INSURANCE FOR CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE
NON UNIFORM EMPLOYEES, REPEALING ALL OTHER ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
<,. ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is
hereby authorized and directed to amend the contract with
the New York Life Insurance Company; to double life in-
surance protection for those now receiving $1,000.00 pr-o-
tection and $2,000.00 protection who are presently employed
and to any new employees hereafter employed in the Non
Uniform Group.
SECTION 2. The increased benefits shall be
effective as of January 1, 1957.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed,
and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
