HomeMy WebLinkAbout10351c 1 ORDINANCE NO. 10,351 AN ORDINANCE' AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY SITUATED IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE CONVEYANCL OF OTHER REAL PROPERTY SITUATED IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS. WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works, by resolution duly enacted on the 2nd day of November, 1956, has requested the City Council to approve an exchange of real property and said Board of Commissioners has determined that said exchange would be a fair and reasonable exchange for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE ROCK, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS: SZCTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute a Warranty Deed on behalf of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, con- veying to Charles E. Walderns and Rhader L. Walderns, his wife, the following- described real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit: All that part of the Southwest Quarter of the South- east Quarter (SW4 SE k) of Section Twenty -two (22) , Township Three (3) North, Range Sixteen (16) West, lying South of Highway No. 10; , said conveyance to be in consideration of the conveyance by Charles E. Walderns and Rhader L. Walderns, his wife, to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works, of the following- described real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit: All of the West Half of the Northwest Quarter (Wk NWT) of Section Twenty -six (26), Township Three (3) North, Range Sixteen (16) West, lying North of Big Maumelle Creek, EXCEPT a tract described as begin- ning at a white oak tree with a letter 'N" cut on the North side, located at the Southwest corner of the old Church yard; thence West 35 yards; thence North to the Section line; thence East 35 yards; thence South to the place of beginning; and EXCEPT a tract described as commencing at the Northeast corner of East Union School land and run East on a parallel line 100 feet; thence South 150 feet; thence West 100 feet; thence North 150 feet to the place of beginning; and EXCEPT a tract described as commencing at a white oak tree with a letter "M" cut on the North side, located at the Southwest corner of the old Church yard; thence North to the Section line; thence East to a certain iron stake; thence South to a certain iron stake driven two (2) feet in the ground; thence West to the above - described white oak tree; and The East Two hundred ten (210) feet of the North Half of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (N' NE'4 Nk) of Section Twenty -seven (27) , Township Three (3) North, Range Sixteen (16) West, intending hereby to convey all lands owned by us in the aforesaid Sec- tions 26 and 27, reserving the right to remove all improvements and all merchantable timber over eight (8) inches in diameter within a period of six (6) months from date.
