AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0, 9006, AS AL ENDED BY ORDINANCES
NO. 9010 AND 9601, PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY MEMBER OF THE
POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
WHO HAS BEEN PROMOTED OR MAY HEREINAFTER BE PROMOTED AND IS NOT
RECEIVING THE MAXIMUM RATE OF PAY ATTACHED TO HIS RANK SHALL RECEIVE
THE MAXIMU1A AMOUNT OF COMPENSATION ATTACHED TO HIS RANK'AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITIL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 That Sections 2, 10 and 14 of Ordinance No..9006 is
hereby amended to provide that any member of the Police and Fire
Departments who hasbeen promoted or may hereinafter be promoted and is
not receiving the maximum rate of pay attached to his rank shall receive
the maximum rate of pay attached to his rank payable in such promotional
step at the beginning date of his promotion.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith and hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval,
