HomeMy WebLinkAbout10327ORDINANCE NO. 109327 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING "AND DIRECTING THE `CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO PAY THE STATE'S PART OF TFIE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN'S SALARY FOR A PERIOD OF 15 NORKING DAYS FROi� OCTOBER 2, 1956 TO OCTOBER 22, 1956 INCi..USIVE, AT' THE RATE OF $3.92 PER DAY, OR A TOTAL OF $58.80 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. Whereas, the resignation of the former laboratory technician became effective at 5 P.&., October 1, 1956 and; Nhereas, the former technician's resignation, in so far as the state is concerned, does not become effective until 5 P .i4.. , October 22, 1956 and; vihereas, because of the importance of the work the present technician started upon her duties October 2, 1956, there is a period of 15 working days from October 2, 1956 to October 22, 1956 the state cannot pay its part of the technician's salary. SECTION 2. Therefore, it is hereby authorized and directed that the City of Little Rock shall pay the state's part of the laboratory technician's salary at the rate of 0.92 per day or a total of .58.80 which covers the 15 working days from October 2, 1956 to October 22, 1956 inclusive. SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and as the public health, peace and safety are directly affected by the provisions of this ordinance, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
