AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE TWO AUTOMOBILES FOR USE OF THE MILK AND DAIRY
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AT A COST NOT
TO EXCEED $3,500.00, INCLUDING VALUE OF TRADE -IN
EQUIPMENT OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise, take bids for, and pur-
chase two automobiles for use of the Milk and Dairy Department
of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to trade -in two (2) City -owned auto-
mobiles on the purchase price of the aforesaid automobiles,
described as follows: 1955 Chevrolet Business Coupe X -49,
Motor No. 0077446, Serial No. A55SO11564; and 1954 Chevrolet
Business Coupe X -65, Motor No. 0993323S548, Serial No.
854 -S- 154142.
SECTION 3. That the total price of the automobiles to
be purchased, plus the trade -in equipment, shall not exceed
the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred ($3,500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
