AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND OBTAIN
THE OFFER OF A LEASE ON PROPERTIES OF THE CITY, BEING
OBTAINED FRUv; THE UNIVERSITY OF ARKANSAS, AND TO REPORT
BACK TO THE COUNCIL RESULTS OF SAID ACTION ON THEIR PART,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to advertise and take bids for,
and obtain, if possible, an offer to lease property from
the City which obtained from the University of
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That upon obtaining the offer of a lease
the Board of Public Affairs is directed to report the terms
of such lease or other arrangements for the use of said
property back to the City Council for its approval thereon.
.3ECT10N 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed and this
ordinance being necessary for the peace, health, and safety
of the people of Little Rock, this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
