AN ORDINANC: AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE MAYOR AND
'CQ CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A IYEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE;: ROCK, ARKANSAS, TO THE PUBLIC, DEDICATING A PARQ&L
OF LAND IN THE WEST HALF OF THE WEST HALF OF THE NORTH-
EAST QUARTER OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF SECTION THREE,
TOWNSHIP ONE NORTH, RANGE THIRTEEN WEST, PULASKI COUNTY,
ARKANSAS, AS A PUBLIC STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHERAS, for the use and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal
Water Works, the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is the owner in fee
simple absolute of a right of way for water transmission line pur-
poses, which right of way crosses the hereinafter - described real
property; and
WHEREAS, private owners propose to construct a paved street
across said right of way if a portion thereof can be dedicated to
the public; and
WHEP.EAS, the Board of Commissioners of the Little Rock Munici-
pal Water Works has, by resolution, approved said proposal subject
to the approval of the City Council of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
to the conditions set out below; NOW, THEREFOR-0,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE: CITY COUNCIL OF LIT ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and requested to execute a Dedication Deed on behalf of the City of
Little Rock, dedicating to the public a fifty (50) foot right of way
for street purposes across the water transmission line of the Little
Rock Municipal Water Works, which line crosses the following
described real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
The West Half of the West half of the Northeast Quarter
of the Northeast tivarter (WZ WZ NE'- Iq 4) of Section Three
(3), Township One (1) North, Range Thirteen (13) West;
subject, however, to the condition that said right of way is subject
to the prior pipe line rights of the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works and any street constructed upon said right of way shall be

subject to the approval of the Manager- Engineer of the Little Rock
Municipal eater Works and shall be composed of a six (6) inch sand
cushion and a six (6) inch crushed stone base topped by two (2)
inches of asphalt.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
