ORDINANCE NO. 10,423
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A SALARY RANGE FOR CERTAIN
E1PLOYEES OF THE MEAT INSPECTION DIVISION OF THE HEALTH
DEPARTMENT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the annual salaries of the Meat Inspection
Division of the Health Department are hereby fixed and established
as follows:

Employees Classification Year Year Year
5 Meat Inspectors $3,120 $3,315 $3,575
SECTION 2. That present employees serving in the above categories
will draw the pay scale according to the number of years they have
served in their respective positions. Those who have not served three
years will automatically change classifications as their years of
service change.
SECTION 3. The pay scale as established above will be effective
as of January 1, 1957.
SECTION 4. That the employees covered by the provisions of
this ordinance shall be paid according to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 9436.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be retroactive
to January 1, 1957.
