ORDINANCE NO. 10,479
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 10462, SAME BEING "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
STREET IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 613 OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS."
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10}.62, same
being „An Ordinance Establishing Street Improvement District
No. 613 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas'12 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
'Section 1. There is hereby established an improvement
district embracing the following property in the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, to wit:
Lots 8 through 14, Block 16, Newtons Addition to
the City of Little Rock;
Lots 6 through 10, Block 15, Newtons Addition to
the City of Little Rock;
Lots 1 through 72 and Lot 14, Block 27, Newtons
Addition to the City of Little Rock;
Lots 1 through 6. Block 28, Newtons Addition to the
City of Little Rock;
Lots 6 and 7, Block 1, Country Club Heights Addition
to the City of Little Rock;
Lots 10 and 11, Block 6, Country Club Heights Addition
to the City of Little Rock; and
A strip of land 60 feet wide lying between Lot 14,
Block 16, Newtons Addition to the City of Little Rock
and Lot 6, Block 16, Newtons Addition to the City of
Little Rock, said strip formerly being a part of
North Jackson Street;
for the purpose of doing the necessary grading, draining, curbing
and guttering and paving, in such a manner and with such materials
as the commissioners to be elected for the said improvement district
shall deem to be for the best interest of said district, the follow-
ing part of the following streets in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
North Jackson Street in the City of Little Rock, from
the point where it intersects with Club Road to a
point where it intersects with Stonewall Road; Stone-
wall Road in the City of Little Rock, from a point
where it intersects with Van Buren Street, thence
East approximately two blocks to the point where the
existing said street terminates;

with present driveways or curb cuts to remain in their present
lateral dimensions, and that the cost thereof over and above any
aid received from any agency of the federal or city governments,
be assessed and charged upon the real property above described,
provided the liability of each lot or tract of land shall be
limited to its assessed benefits.
Said District shall be known as Street Improvement District
No. 613, and Martin Borchert, Ledru R. Barnett and James L. Verhoeff
are hereby named as commissioners, who shall compose the Board of
Improvement for said District."
Section 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
