AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THAT PORTION OF AN ALLEY RUNNING NORTH
AND SOUTH BETWEEN LOT 27, BLOCK 23, RIVERSIDE PARK ADDITION
AND LOT 12, BLOCK 22, OF STILLMAN AND BUCHANAN ADDITION,
BEGINNING AT LINCOLN AVENUE AND EXTENDING NORTH TO NORTH
BOUNDARY LINE OF SAID LOTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed wit's t,lle City Coantil
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the 2nd day of April ,
1957, asking t_at tie City Council vacate and abandon all that
portion of an alley designated on the plat of the Riverside Park
Addition,appearing of record in Plat Book 27, Page 601, and also
designated on the plat of Stillman and Buchanan Addition, appearing
of record in Plat Book 10, Page 709, in the office of the Recorder
of Pulaski County, Arkansas, said alley runding north and south
between Lot 27, Block 23, Riverside Park Addition and Lot 12,
Block 22 of Stillman and Buchanan Addition, all of t-ae City of
Little Rock, beginning at Lincoln Avenue and extending north to
the north boundary line of the iereinabove described lots.
AND 11Hr,REAS, after due notice as rec -iired by law, the City
Council has, at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard
all persons desiring to be heard on the question, and has ascertained
that the alley or the portion tinereof hereinabove described has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as an alley, but has
not been actually used by the public generally for a period of at
least five years subsequent to the filing of the plat; that all
the owners of the property abuttinL upon the portion of the alley
to be vacated have filed with the Council their written consent for
such abandonment, and that public interest and welfare will not -be
adversely affected by the abandonment of suc:tn alley ojk portion of
alley.;
NOW,THERErORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
Section 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby
releases, vacates and abandons all its rights, together witii the
rid: hts of the p1zblic generally, in and to the alley and portions
of the alley designated as follotas:

That portion of an alley deli- -nated on the plat
of tie Riverside Park i ddition, appearing of
record in Plat Book 27, Pa €e 604, and also delig-
nated on the plat of Stillman cnc Buchanan -addition
appearing of record in Plat Look 10, Page 709, in
the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,irkansas,
said alley run g ing nor �-n aiid south between Lot 27,
Block 23,Riverside Park rddition and Lot 12, Block 22
of Stillman and L'uchanan kddition, all of the City
of Little Rock, and beginning at Lincoln Avenue and
extending north to cne north boundary line of the
nereinabove described lots.
Section 2. A cop -,r of une ordinance duly certified by the
;i l y Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski
County, and recorded in the Deed =records of the County.
Section 3. This ordina:ice shall take effect and be
in force from and after its passage.
Section 4. t`' -11 ordinances in conflict herewith are
