HomeMy WebLinkAbout10514ORDINANCE NO. 10,514 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF NINE HUNDRED, NINETY DOLLARS AND SIXTY -SIX CENTS ($990.66) TO BE PAID TO LEONARD ELLIS WRECKER SERVICE FOR THE TOWING AND STORAGE OF VEHICLES PROVIDED FOR IN A CONTRACT WITH THAT FIRM, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, A contract was entered into between the City of __n.. Lithe Rock and Leonard Ellis Wrecker Service on May 10, 1954, for the towing and storage of vehicles picked up on the streets of the City of Little Rock, and WHEREAS, Twenty -Three (23) vehicles were sold at an auction on April 6, 1957, settling for a total of One Thousand, Nine Dollars ($1009.00) which amounts less the cost of advertising for said sale, the sum of Eighteen Dollars and Thirty -four cents ($18.34) leaving a balance due of Nine Hundred, Ninety Dollars and Sixty -six cents ($990.66). N04 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Nine Hundred, Ninety Dollars and Sixty -six cents ($990.66) to be paid to Leonard Ellis Wrecker Service for the towing and storage of vehicles as provided for in a contract by and between said firm and the Board of Public Affairs of the City of Little Rock. SECTION 2. That the above number of vehicles were sold at public auction to satisfy accumulated wrecker and storage fees. SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
