AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND REQUESTING THE BOARD OF
PUBLIC AFFAIRS TO ADVERTISE, TAKE BIDS FOR, AND PUR-
CHASE A THREE (3) TO FIVE (5) TON PORTABLE ROLLER FOR
USE OF THE STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AT A COST NOT TO EXCEED FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($5.000.00) PLUS A TRADE -IN OF A GALION 19230
EIGHT (8) TO TEN (10) TON TANDEM ROLLER, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Public Affairs is hereby authorized
and requested to advertise, take bids for, and purchase a three
(3) to five (5) ton portable roller for use of the Street Depart-
ment, at a cost not to exceed Five Thousand Dollars ($5000.00)
plus a trade -in of a Galion 1923, eight (8) to ten (10) ton
Tandem Roller.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
