AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AMID REQUESIING THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
AFFAIRS TO TAKE OUT`INSURANCE ON`A SCriEDULED LIST OF PROPERTY
HEREINAFTER ATTACHED TO THIS ORDINANCE, WHICH SCHEDULE ALSO
SETS FORTH THE VALUES TO BE PLACED ON SAID
BUILDINGS
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, J. Herchel Lewis, C. A. Pfeiffer, and Robert W.
Burns,- constituting a committee appointed by the members of the
Finance Committee of the City Council of the City of Little Rock,
taking a comprehensive study in regard to Fire and Extended
Coverage Insurance, and
WHEREAS, said committee having reported to the Finance
Committee, and
WHEREAS, said committee furnished a schedule of said
property to be insured together with the values to be placed
thereon.
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Public Affairs is hereby
authorized and requested to take out insurance on a scheduled
list of property hereinafter attached to this ordinance, and
which schedule also sets forth the values to be placed on said
buildings.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
