ORDINANCE NO.

AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING ORDINANCES NO. 8460 AND NO. 8497,
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Y <= WHEREAS, oar Country is no longer in an active state of war and;
WHEREAS, the personnel called by selective service for active duty are
! generally under the age of 21 years and;
WHEREAS, the City does not employ any one on a permanent basis under
21 years and;
WHEREAS, the City is not in a healthy financial condition at this time,
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That ordinances No. 8460 and No. 8497 are hereby abolished.
SECTION 2. This abolishment in no way shall affect ordinance No. 7657
pertaining to Military Leave of Absence.
3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval.
