AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A TEMPORARY POSITION OF
STREET PROJECT ASPHALT INSPECTOR IN THE STREET
SECTION OF THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ESTABLISHING THE SALARY
r THEREOF, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That there is hereby created a temporary position
of Street Project Asphalt Inspector, in the Engineering Department
of the City of Little Rock, whose salary shall be $250.00 per month
during the annual resurfacing program, not to exceed a period of
seven (7) months,,each year.
SECTION 2. That the said Street Project Asphalt Inspector shall
be under the supervision of the City Engineer, and his duties shall
be to approve or reject in part or in the entirety of the work of
the Contractor relating to the resurfacing of City streets.
SECTION 3. That the Street Project Asphalt Inspector shall be
paid from Street Department Funds.
SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
