ORDINANCE NO. 10,578
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING VARIOUS SUMS OF MONEY FOR PAYMENTS
OF MATURING PRINCIPAL, CALLED PRINCIPAL, SEMI- ANNUAL INTEREST,
AND PAYING AGENT'S CHARGES DUE AUGUST 1, 1957 AND SEPTEMBER 1,
1957 ON VARIOUS CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BOND ISSUES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated out of the various
funds of the City of Little Rock the sums of money as herein recited
for payment of the City's Obligations on various bond issues due
August 1, 1957 and September 1, 1957, as follows:
AUGUST 1, 1957
3% and 1 3/4% GENERAL OBLIGATION RIGHTS -OF -WAY STREET IMPROVE-
MENT BONDS OF 1953 - HIGHWAY BOND FUND:
Called Principal $146,000.00
Semi - Annual Interest 81100.00
Paying Agent's fees 202,75
2 3/4%,, AND 26/, FIRE APPARATUS AND FIRE STATIONS BONDS OF 1953 -
FIRE DEPARTMENT BOND FUND:
Called Principal 47,000.00
Semi - Annual Interest 3,616.25
Paying Agent's Charges 67.79

SECTION 2. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized
to issue the Cityts warrants on the respective funds and for the
respective amounts herein mentioned; and the City Clerk is hereby
authorized to make such arrangements as are necessary for the trans-
mittal of these funds to the proper paying agents to meet the due date.
SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval.
