AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING A SUM NOT TO EXCEED $23,500.00
TO PAY DAVE E. WITT, ATTORNEY, FOR LEGAL SERVICES RENDERED,
AT THE RATE OF $20.00 PER HOUR, IN REPRESENTING THE MAYOR,
ALDERMEN AND ELECTED OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
IN THEIR OFFICIAL CAPACITY IN CONNECTION WITH LITIGATION
NOW PENDING IN FEDERAL COURT, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,

SECTION 1. That a sum not to exceed Two Thousand Five
Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated to pay Dave
E. Witt, Attorney, for legal services rendered, at the rate of
$20.00 per hour, in representing the Mayor, Aldermen and Elected
Officials of the City of Little Rock in their official capacity
in connection with a suit now pending against them in Federal
Court.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby au-
thorized and directed to issue the City's warrant in a sum not
to exceed Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,500.00) Dollars to Dave
E. Witt, at the rate of $20.00 per hour, upon his presentation
of an itemized list of hours involved in litigation.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed, and this ordinance
shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and approval.
