AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF SEVENTEEN DOLLARS AND
FIFTY CENTS ($17.50).PE;.R WEEK AS PAYMENT OF.SALARY.TO THE
I'fUTIUTYthM (PLUMBER) IN THE. BUILDING MAINTENANCE DFPAR7*ENT
FOR . OVERTIME WORK IN.CONNE;.CTION.WITH THE.OPERATiON.OF THE
HEATING PLANTS FOR THE CITY.HALL,.F.1RE.DEPARTMENT, Mq__4RTHUR..
PARK, AND.DUNBAR RECREATION CENTER,.REPEALiNG ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, it is necessary that a qualified person check the
operation of heating plants for the City located at City Hall Fire
Department, Mc Arthur Park, and Dunbar Recreation Center, at nights,
on the weekends, and holidays, and
WHEREAS, the Utility Man (Plumber) In the Building Maintenance
Department performs these duties during regular working hours and Is
experienced and qualified in the operation of these plants, and is
wilting to perform this work on an overtime basis which will be more
economical than employing an additional person fuiltime, and
NOW ;THEREFOREBE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby oppropriated the sum of Seventeen
Dot #ars and Fifty Cents ($17.50) per week as payment of salary to the
Utility Man (Plumber) in the Building Maintenance Department for overtime
work In connection with the operation of the heating plants located at
City Hall Fire Department, Mc Arthur Park, and Dunbar Recreation Center,
and shall be paid in the same manner as other salaries of City employees.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be effective from November 1, 1957,
through April 30, 1958.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
