AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOW BID OF BALE CHEVROLET
COMPANY ON A PURCHASE OF A 1958 MODEL CHEVROLET AUTO-
MOBILE FOR USE BY THE TRAFFIC ENGINEER; AU'T'HORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PURCHASE SAID
AUTONDBILE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WjiEiiEAS, after proper legal advertisement for bids for
the purchase by the City of one (1) 1958 model automobile
y the Traffic Engineer, and
WHEREAS, several bids were received in keeping with
said advertisement, and
WHEREAS, the bid of Bale Chevrolet Company at $1,727.95
is the low bid submitted, now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the bid of Bale Chevrolet Company for
Traffic
sale to the City, for use by thq1AXW Engineer, of one (1)
1958 Model Chevrolet automobile in the amount of $1,727.95,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to proceed with purchase of the auto-
mobile represented by the low bid of Bale Chevrolet Company
provided for hereinabove in Section I.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
