"; AND FUR OTHER PUMSES, BE IT ORAA►INED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE RCCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That sub - section 2 of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10,750 of the ordinances of the City of Little Rock: be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows: '`The applicant shall furnish to the City of Little Rock a performance bond from any reputable bonding company approved by the City Collector and City Attorney in the amount of $1,000.00 where the assessed evaluation of the property covered by the application (which shall include real property, "building" and personal property located therein) is $100,000.00 or less as reflected by the county tax records or in ttte amount of $2,500.00 where said evaluation is over $100,000.00.1' SECTION 2. That sub - section 3 of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 10,750 of the ordinances of the.City of Little Rock be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows: "The applicant shall pay in advance to the City Collector an annual ready to serve fee based on the assessed evaluation of the property covered by each application as is reflected by the comoty tau records according to the following schedule of rates: ASSESSED PROPE M EVALUATION RATE 0 to $125,000.00 $ 50.00 $125,000.00 to $250,000.00 $100.00 $ach additional $100,000.00 or fraction thereof $ 25.0010 e VGG� -2- SECTION 3. 7bat sub- section 5 of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 109750 of the ordinances of the City of Little Rock be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follows: "in addition to the above fee the applicant shall pay a usage fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per hour or fraction thereof for each fire fighting company which responds to an alarm on the premises of the applicants wbetber the alarm is false or comes as a result of a fire. Only one fire fighting company shall respond to an alarm on the premises of any applicant unless the applicant or its or his agent requests additional companies. The City shall not be bound to dispatch any equipment unless the equipment is available and is not needed at the time for fighting fire within the City limits." SECTION 4. Whereas, the City of Little Rock is willing to furnish fire fighting service to industrial and commercial property outside the City limits when such can be done without jeopardizing city property; and, whQreas, said property owners outside the City are desirous of contracting with said City for such fire fighting service, now therefore, an emergency is here- by declared to exist, and this ordinarce is found to be neces- sary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health and safety and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
