AN ORDINANCE ALLOWING EXTRA PAY FOR WORK IN EXCESS OF FORTY
(40) HOURS PER WEEK WHEN IN THE JUDGMENT OF THE CITY MANAGER

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF

,.o SECTION 1. When in the discretion of the City Manager it

is necessary to work employees in excess of forty (40) hours per week
P4 such excess work shall be compensated by extra pay computed at the
straight rate of pay under the said employees salary schedule pro-
vided for in the budget. Provided, however, such extra pay shall

not be allowed except when it is determined that sufficient funds
N
in addition to the regular budgeted salary appropriated for use by
the departments employing said employees is available.
0 SECTION 2. All ordinances and

flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
