DOLLARS ($600.00) PAYABLE TO LT. CC.RL E. J�)ZIKSON
OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO DEFRAY HIS EXPENSES
TO LTTEND t. THREE (3) 14ONTHS COURSE AT THE SOUZIERN
POLICE INSTITUTE OF THE UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE,
LOUISVILLE,KENTUCICY; DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY WARRANT
FOR SAID APPROPRIATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, t-`,RI{ANSAS :
SECTION 1, There is hereby appropriated payable to Lt.
Carl E. Jackson of the Little zock Police Force the sum of
Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00) to defray his expenses while at-
tending a three months school at the Sout'j'Aerrn Police Institute,
University of Loui¢ville, Louflville, Kentucky.
SECTION 2. The City Manager and City Clergy: are hereby
authoiized and directed to execute the necessary warrant as
provided for in Section 1 hereinabove.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed and tnis ordinance shall
be in full force a_.d effect from and after its passage and
approval.
