AN ORDINANCE DECLARING "H" STREET BETWEEN HARRISON
AND TYLER AS A "NO PARKING AREA "; DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. When signs are erected giving notice thereof,
parking shall be prohibited on "H" Street between Harrison and
Tyler Streets.
SECTION 2. Any person parking a vehicle in violation of
provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be fined any sum from
TWO ($2.00) Dollars to Two Hundred Fifty ($250.00) Dollars, or
shall be imprisoned for a time not to exceed twenty (20) days,
or both fined and imprisoned.
SECTION 3. Because.traffic donditions at the present time
are hazardous to property and persons of the City of Little Rock
and particularly school children attending school in the imme-
diate area above affected; and because the prohibiting of park-
ing described above will correct this condition, an emergency is
hereby declared to exist; and this ordinance is found to be
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and
safety and shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.
