ORDINANCE No. 10, 694
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10,313 AND SECTION 16 OF
ORDINANCE 9006, ESTABLISHING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
SEAS, the Personnel Director and the Superintendent of Parks and
Recreation were the only department heads not advanced to $6,000.00 or above during
the last increase, and
' CAB, the work in the Civil Service Offiee has greatly inereasedi vx ,
SEAS, the Parks and Recreation Superintendent is over all the parks,
woo, pools, golf courses, recreation program, community center, museums, and the
like, and
V.EAS, certain interested citizens are matching city funds to provide
the new Director of the Fine Arts Museum with an annual salary of $6,000.00, and
SEAS, after the first of the year the Director of the Fine Arts Museum
will be drawing a larger salary than the above department heads-
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTCRS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the annual salary range of Ordinance No. 10,313 shall be
ceded to' read as follows:

SECTION 2. The salary of Director of the Fine Arts Museum as defined in
Section 16 of Ordinance No. 9006 is hereby established on a four weeks basis as follows:

SECTION 3. The salary range shall be in compliance with Ordinance No, 9006
as amended, except that the incoming Director of Fine Arts Museum shall receive the
maximum rate of pay for said position.
SECTION $. The employees covered by the provisions of t1f0 ordinance shall be
paid on a two week pay period basis according to the provisions of Ordinance No. 9436.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in fall force and effect from and after
January 1, 1958 and all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed as of that date.
