BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized two (2) Assistant City Attorneys and one Secretary. SECTION 2. The salary of the City Attorney, the Assistant City Attorneys and the Secretary to the City Attorney, shall be such as is from year to year provided for in the Budget of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas. SECTICK 3. The City of Little Rock is now involved and very much interested in numerous law suits, and, to protect the interest of the City of Little 2ookf the staff for the City Attorney is immediately needed. NOW, THEREFORE, an emergency is declared to exist, and this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of public peace, health and safety, and shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
