AN ORDINANCE AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
MATERIALS AND LABOR TO REPAIR A D -6 CATERPILL2 - -iR TRACTOR
FOR USE BY THE SANITATION DEPARTMENT IN GARBAGE DISPOSAL
WORK AT THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL.PLANT; APPROPRIATING THE
SUM OF ONE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY THREE DOLLARS
AND TWELVE CENTS ($1,743.12); AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, J. A. Riggs Tractor Company has submitted the low
bid of One Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Three Dollars and Twelve
Cents ($1,743.12) for the repair of one (1) D -6 Caterpillar
Tractor for use uy the Sanitation Depart lent in Garbage Disposal
for; at the Garbage Disposal Plant in the City of Little Rock.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, AF.IZ4NSAS:
SECTION 1. The contract for the purchase of materials and
labor for repairi�.g one (1) D-6 Caterpillar Tractor for use
by the Sanitation Department in Garbage Disposal :7orl- at the
Garbage Disposal Plant for a total consideration of One Thousand
Seven Hundred Forty Three Dollars and Twelve Cents ($1,743.12)
is hereby awarded to J. .4"1. Riggs Tractor Company.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the Garbage
Plant Construction Fund the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred
Fort;? Three Dollars and Twelve Cents ($1,743.12) payable to
J. A. Riggs Tractor Company in payment of the said contract price;
the City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the necessary warrant for the payment
of the same.
SECTION 3. :11 ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
