HomeMy WebLinkAbout10865ORDINANCE NO. 10,865 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 5420 AS AMENDED; THE LITTLE ROCK ZONING ORDINANCE: AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following property be and is hereby, changed as indicated: Tract No. 13 -A Property bounded on the north by East 6th Street, on the east generally between the center of the blocks between Rock and Cumberland ,Streets, on the south the center of the 800 block on Cumberland Street, on the west between the center of the blocks between Cumberland and Scott Streets, being lots one (1) through six (6), inclusive, and the west seventy -five (75) feet of lots ten (10), eleven (11), twelve (12), all in block forty -one (41), lots one (1) through six (6), inclusive, block forty -two (42), lots one (1) through three (3), inclusive, block forty -three (43), lots twelve (12), eleven (11), and the south F one -half of ten (10), block twenty -six (26), lots seven (7) through twelve (12), inclusive, block twenty -eight (28), all in the Original City of Little Rock, Arkansas; from "E" Apartment District and "G" Commercial District to 11E -1" quiet Business and Institutional District. Tract No. 13 -B Property generally bounded on the north bir East 4th Street,on the east generally by the center of the block between Rock and Cumberland Streets, on the south by East 6th Street, on the west by the center of the block between Cumberland and Scott Streets; being lots one (1), two (2), three (3), and four (4), block thirty -nine (39), lots ten (10), eleven (11), twelve (12), block thirty (30), lots one (1) through six (6), inclusive, and the west twenty -six (26) feet of seven (7) and the west twenty -six (26) feet of the south ten (10) feet of eight, all in block forty (40), lots seven (7) through twelve (12), inclusive, block twenty - nine (29), all in Original City, from "E" Apartment District and "G" Commercial District to "H" Business District. Tract N'o. 13-F Property generally being the area on the north side of Roosevelt Road between Louisiana and Main Streets, being the north one hundred twelve (112) feet of the south one hundred forty -six (146) feet of the west one hundred (100) feet of lot two (2), block nineteen (19), Rapley's Addition; from "C" Two - family District to "F" Commercial District. 16 N Tract No. 13 -G Property at the southeast corner of Asher Avenue and Johnson Street, being lot six (6), block two (2), C. E. Gallagher's Addition; from "B" Residence District to "F" Commercial District. Tract No. 13 -H Property on the south side of U. S. Highway 65, west of Carolina Street, being part of the northeast one - fourth (NEI) of the northwest one - fourth (NW4) of Section 24, Township 1 North, Range 12 West in the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows to wit: Beginning; at a point 208 feet west of the SE corner of the NEB of the NGt4 of said section, thence running north 115 feet • thence west 106 feet thence north 150 feet to the south right -of- way line of U. a. Highway 65, thence in a southeasterly direction along said right -of -way line 211 feet, thence south 218 feet, thence west 100 feet to the point of beginning; from "A" One - family District to "F" Commercial District. SECTION 2. That the Little Rock Zoning Ordinance; Ordinance No. 5420 as amended, and the map referred to in Section 2 thereof entitled "District Map" be, and they are hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
