ORDINANCE NO. 10,871
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, OF CERTAIN LANDS LOCATED IN
SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH& RANGE 13 WEST, PULAMa
COUNTY, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, upon the petition of a majority of the real estate
owners of the hereinafter described area affected, who also
constitute a majority of the total number of owners and own
more than one half of the acreage affected and hereinafter
described, and after due notice of the hearing on said petition
for the time and in the manner prescribed by law, the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, did on September 30, 1958,
enter an order annexing the hereinafter described property
situate in Pulaski County, Arkansas, to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; and
WHEREAS,more than thirty days have expired within which
any remonstrant could institute proceedings in the Circuit
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas, to prevent said annexation,
and there have appeared no remonstrants to said annexation;
and
WHEREAS, said hereinafter described lands are contiguous
to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; now, therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. That the following described property located in
the County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit:

North 100 feet of E' Eh Nh NWh NFh Section 2, Township 1
North, Range 13 West, except the West 100 feet thereof;
Part of the Eh E� NWh NE& described as beginning at the
Northwest corner thereof, thence South 1120 feet, East 100
feet, North 1120 feet, West 100 feet to beginning; and
Part of the E� NWk N1* described as beginning at the
Northwest corner thereof, thence South 13.25 chains, East
4.98 chains, Worth 13 ,i0,9 Chains, Nest 5.03 chains to r> r
beginning (also known as W A NWIA NEB, except the South
399.65 feet thereof) —«» all in Section 2, Township 1
North, Range 13 West;
North 100 feet of NWh NWh NEB Section 2, Township 1 North,
Range 13 West;
All of BROOKFIELD SUBDIVISION, Section A, in the Northwest
Quarter (NWT) of Section 2, Township 1 North, Range 13
West, lying North and East of Rodney Parham Road,
be and the same is hereby accepted as annexed to and made a part
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that said territory shall
henceforth be assigned and attached to the Fifth Ward
of said City; and that the residents therein shall henceforth be
considered as citizens of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage.
