AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AND ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, FOR THE TWELVE (12)
MDr1H PERIOD BEGINNING JANUARY 19 19590 AND ENDING
DEMMER 31, 1959; APPROPRIATING MMM FOR EACH AND
EVERY ITEM OF EXPENDITURE THEREIN PROVIDED FOR; DE-
CLARING 14 EMERGENCY TO EXIST; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, MISAS:
szcTlolq 1. This ordinance shall be known as the Bud6et
for the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the twelve (12) month
period beginning Janunr,jr 1, 1959, and ending December 31, 1959,
reflecting anticipated revenues and expenditures as hereinafter
set forth in the following sections;
1,
SECTION 58. The respective amounts of money for each and
every item of expenditure provided for hereivabove in Sections
2 through 57 are be reby appropriated for the purposes therein
set forth.
SECTION 59. wbereas by re"on of the fact that the
City'o fi.oeal YOW is fvW January lot to December 31st of
oath calendar year and, whereas, it is acesssary by law to
hears the annual budget in effect on January lot of each year
in order to operate the City government; am therefore, so
eese - sency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health
and safety shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passa"*
